How is this different from a build-time link checker?
Build-time checkers see your source once. PathIntact crawls the live site on a schedule, so it catches external links that rot, anchors that vanish when headings change, pages that lose every inbound link after a nav rewrite, and URLs that break during a platform migration.
Will I get noisy alerts?
No. A link problem must fail twice, either on two crawls or on a recheck ten minutes later, before it is confirmed. Alerts go out only for newly confirmed issues and for resolutions.
Does it work with JavaScript-rendered docs?
Yes. Paid plans render pages in Chromium when the static HTML is only a shell, so anchors and links created on the client are checked too.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Enter your docs URL, verify ownership with a DNS record, meta tag or file, and monitoring starts. Nothing changes on your site.
